The Comforting Chair

From the comforting chair,
so still there,
It's always a short way
to the action out there.

The comforts of caution,
are the rule
in the comfortable chair.

From the bedrooms of america,
a place for rest,
It's always a short way
to the action out there.

The guilt of prejudice, esteem,
reign ...
nightmares and that last dream,
forces us awake,
to another comforting place.
